About the Foundation  "Dreams do come true."The Michelle Combs Foundation (MCF) is dedicated to the premise that everyone can succeed. Students with learning disabilities can attend universities and colleges. MCF is collaboration between Alpha Kappa Psi and Michelle's family and friends to raise donations for scholarships for students like Michelle who major in business. The Foundation awards scholarships to students at the SALT Center at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in business through the Eller College of Management. For the 2006-2007 school year the SALT Center fees are $2,200 per semester. The Foundation's goal is to award three scholarships, each for $2,200, in the fall of 2007. After the University of Arizona scholarships are endowed (funded in perpetuity), the foundation will endow scholarships at other universities that have programs similar to the SALT Center. The Foundation's scholarships are Michelle's legacy. The Michelle Combs Foundation is a non-profit corporation. | ||
